Welcome!

Welcome! Our site is currently being developed. Our goal is to create a resource for you and your grilling needs. When it comes to cooking and grilling, everyone wants the quick and easy answer.  When we’re asked, how long do you grill pork loin per pound, we don’t have a quick answer without asking a lot of questions.  How hot is your grill? Is the pork loin on a rotisserie? Is it wrapped and marinated in tin foil? Clearly, your goal is to grill the juiciest and best tasting pork loin possible (that is fully cooked). Our goal is to help you do that, bring many cooking tips, recipes, leftover recipes, barbeque ideas, and all of the information our cooks can collect on the subject of foods, cooking and grilling! While our site is under construction, we also review and find other websites that are similar minded. The basics on the subject are simple. You want indirect heat (not on the flame). Wrapping in tinfoil or using a rotisserie is one way to provide indirect heat. Then, you want the grill to be medium heat (not cranked up like when searing steak). Ultimately, it’s not the temperature of the grill that should concern you as much as the temperature of the pork. The center of the pork loin should be 160-170 degrees for medium to well done (and you want your pork cooked). Like chicken, you don’t want pork to be medium rare! It ends up taking 20-25 minutes per pound in most cases. Part of the secret to great tasting pork loin is making sure to cook to the proper temperature but you’re going to need great marinades and seasoning as well. You may want to experiment with smoking the pork as well. We are going to explore as many ways to grill pork as we know. We certainly want to hear from our readers as well. What works for you? You send us a note and we’ll post it! This is a community website. Feel free to contact us!
